“ We have drove passed here for a very long time and finally stopped. We weren't let down. The food, service, and atmosphere were just splendid. The portions were very big. The view over the lake took us off guard. Can't wait to get back! ”

My friend took me for my birthday dinner and we all had the special, Sea Bass Almondine covered in lobster bisque. Fantastic. The vegetable medley was awesome too. I have been here many times and never had anything that wasn't delicious. ”

“ Sal's will definitely be our "go to" restaurant for Italian cuisine. Robust flavors with just the right seasoning captures by the chef. My wife and I had the combo dinner. Making a decision on which entre was the best still has us debating. To top off our meals we had the cheesecake and amaretto cheesecake - both were delicious. The restaurant was very clean and our waitress, Jay, was helpful and delightful. The entire experience was at a very reasonable price. If this review was helpful, please "like" it. ”
“ What a hidden gem found in Henderson Texas! This amazing restaurant sits down a bit, between 2 other buildings and if you didn't know it was there, you'd drive right by. Fortunately someone took me there for lunch, and my tastebuds will never be the same. In fact, I went the following day (today)and brought my family for dinner. The atmosphere is perfect, great design, beautiful things to admire as fast as decor along with seating by the lake! As you walk up to the entrance there is a nice fountain set up and it really prepares you to be relaxed and transposed into the great atmosphere inside. It is wheelchair friendly. All of the staff is friendly. The restaurant is very clean. The bathroom was clean and had room for my wheelchair. They provide hand sanitizer at the door for those who want it. The food is authentic Italian and it is divine!! The portions are big, the prices are extremely fair (cheapest I've eaten in 2 months with my family). It is so refreshing to be able to sit and truly enjoy the entire experience without complaint, and not have to pay an "arm & a leg". At the time of this review, they are hiring! If you need a job drop by. I don't want this place to close down because they don't have enough staff. I highly recommend Sal's, if you are in Henderson you can't drive through and miss out on an amazing experience! Get some Sal's while you're here! ”

“ I've been eating at Sal's for years. Its truly a gem here in East Texas and probably one of the best Italian restaurants around. The atmosphere is awesome and overlooks a lake. The food is phenomenal. I have never had a bad experience. I love chicken marsala and its probably one of the best I've had. Definitely a place you should try. ”
